First Reconciliation and First Communion
The sacrament of Reconciliation gives us the opportunity to turn away from sin, embrace new life, and experience God’s unconditional forgiveness; as a result we are called to forgive others. Baptized children who are seven years of age or older may begin preparation to receive both the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion by registering online below. For any inquiries contact Mary Catherine Bishop at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the Eucharist we partake of Christ’s body and blood together, as members of his Body, the Church. The regular reception of this Sacrament strengthens our bond with the risen Christ and the community that gathers each weekend. Baptized children who are seven years of age or older begin preparation to receive the Eucharist (Holy Communion) for the first time, after having prepared for and celebrated the sacrament of Reconciliation Confession).
