In response to the most recent announcement from the Ontario government (April 16, 2021), Bishop Fabbro has directed that all parishes in the diocese be closed to the public effective April 19, 2021. This means we will have no in-person Masses with the exceptions of funerals and weddings–following the provincial guideline of a maximum of 10 people. All First Communions, Confirmations, Confessions and other celebrations are postponed effective April 19th until the end of the lockdown. The parish offices are closed and staff will only be at the parish when it is necessary. You can still contact us–we are here to serve you as all the staff are working remotely.
We will be live-streaming Masses at www.sgtvlondon.ca and phone-streaming at 226-781-7977. We will also continue to offer online ministry and programs like Roman Roadhouse, Lectio Divina and 33 Days to Morning Glory. Despite the challenges of the last year, we continue to support and serve one another knowing that with the vaccines slowly arriving in our region—we can see light at the end of this very dark tunnel!!
I know that everyone is tired and frustrated. This pandemic has caused so much pain, suffering and tragically–death. As an Easter people we seek the light and grace of our Risen Lord to give us the energy and will to continue moving forward following all safety guidelines and caring for one another. We as a parish seek opportunities to support everyone during these very challenging times. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you or people you know. It is during the hardest times that we need to step up as faithful and loving disciples reaching out to all.
Be safe and be well!!
